Terms of Service

Last updated October 5, 2026

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Easyfixo LLC ("Easyfixo", "we", "us"). They apply whenever you use easyfixo.app or our other services, whether you are hiring ("client"), offering your services ("pro"), or just browsing.

By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms, to our Privacy Policy and to our Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What Easyfixo is

Easyfixo is a marketplace. Clients describe a job, pros send offers, and the client chooses one. The work itself is agreed between the client and the pro: Easyfixo LLC does not perform, supervise or guarantee it, and is not a party to that agreement.

Pros on Easyfixo are independent businesses, not our employees, agents or partners. They decide which jobs to offer on, what to charge and when to work.

We check the documents pros upload (such as a government ID, a trade license or proof of insurance) before they can receive jobs. That review is done in good faith on what we are shown; it is not a guarantee of a pro's skill, licensing, insurance or conduct. Check what matters to you before you book.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
  • Keep your account information accurate. One person, one account.
  • Sign-in codes are personal. Anything done from your account is your responsibility until you tell us it was compromised.
  • Pros must provide truthful business details, and must hold whatever licenses, permits and insurance the law requires for the work they offer.

We may refuse, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or our Community Guidelines, or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to other users.

3. For clients

Describe the job accurately. Pros price their offers on what you tell them. Leaving out a detail that changes the work (a stone wall instead of drywall, a third floor with no elevator) can change the price or lead the pro to decline on arrival.

Offers are the pro's own. An offer's price, duration and time windows come from the pro. By accepting an offer you enter into an agreement with that pro for the work described, at that price, and you authorize payment as described below.

Your address. Pros see only your neighborhood until you accept an offer. The pro you book then sees your full address and access notes so they can do the job. Do not put your address or house number in photos or job descriptions.

Be ready. Make sure the pro can access the property at the booked time and that anyone needed to let them in or make decisions is reachable.

4. For pros

You are an independent business. You choose the jobs you offer on, set your own prices and hours, and use your own tools and methods. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, partnership, franchise or agency relationship with us.

Licensing is your responsibility. Many trades, and in some places any home improvement work above a small amount, require a license, permit or insurance. For example, New York City requires a Home Improvement Contractor license for most home improvement work. You must hold what the law requires for the work you offer and for the place where you do it, and you must tell us honestly what you hold.

Offer only what you can deliver. An accepted offer is a commitment: show up at the booked time, do the work you described, and charge what you quoted unless the client agrees to a change before you do extra work.

Keep your profile current. Your hours, service area and the services you offer drive which jobs you are shortlisted for. Pause your profile rather than ignoring jobs you can't take.

No circumvention. Jobs found through Easyfixo are booked and paid through Easyfixo. Taking a client off the platform to avoid our fee is a breach of these terms and leads to removal.

5. Prices, fees and payments

The price is the pro's price. The amount the client sees is the pro's offer; we do not add a markup for clients.

Paying in the app. Where in-app payment is available, the client pays the agreed price through our payment processor when the booking is confirmed. The funds are held and released to the pro after the client confirms the job is done, or automatically 48 hours after the pro marks it complete if the client has not responded or reported a problem. If the final price changes with the client's agreement, the released amount reflects it.

Platform fee. We charge pros a platform fee, a percentage of the job price, deducted before the payout. The current rate, and any introductory rate you qualify for, is shown to you in the app before you send an offer. We may change the rate for future jobs with notice in the app; it never changes for a job already booked.

Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Pros receive payouts through a Stripe account and must accept Stripe's connected-account terms. We never see or store full card numbers.

Taxes. Pros are responsible for the taxes on their income and for collecting and remitting any sales tax that applies to their work. Clients are responsible for any tax that applies to them. We may issue tax forms where the law requires.

Cash jobs. Where in-app payment is not yet available, the client pays the pro directly at the agreed price. The rest of these terms, including cancellations, disputes and reviews, still apply.

6. Cancellations, no-shows and disputes

Cancelling. Either side can cancel a booking before the work starts and must give a reason. A client's cancellation closes the job; a pro's cancellation sends the job back to other pros. We do not currently charge cancellation fees, but repeated late cancellations or no-shows lead to removal from the platform.

Reporting a problem. If the work was not done, was not what was agreed, or something else went wrong, report it in the app from the booking while it is in progress or awaiting your confirmation. Held funds are not released while a report is open.

How we resolve it. We review the report, the booking details and both sides' accounts, and may ask for photos or more information. We then decide in good faith whether the job is treated as completed (and the pro is paid) or cancelled (and any held payment is returned to the client), or something in between. Our decision is about the payment held on the platform; it does not limit any rights you have against the other party.

7. Reviews

After a job is completed, the client and the pro can each leave a review. Reviews are blind: neither side sees the other's review until both are in, or until 14 days have passed.

Reviews must be honest and about the booking. Do not offer or accept anything in exchange for a review, review your own business, or post reviews on behalf of someone else. We may remove reviews that break these rules or our Community Guidelines, and we may show a pro's rating and review count publicly.

8. Acceptable use

Our Community Guidelines are part of these terms. In short, you may not:

  • Use Easyfixo for anything unlawful, or ask a pro to do work that would be unlawful without a license or permit they don't hold.
  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against or endanger anyone.
  • Post false information, impersonate someone, or use someone else's documents or identity.
  • Scrape, copy or resell the service, interfere with its operation, or try to get around its security or our fees.
  • Contact other users for anything other than the job at hand, or use their information for marketing.

9. Your content and ours

You own what you post: job descriptions, photos, reviews and profile text. By posting it you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display and share it as needed to run the service, including showing a job to shortlisted pros and showing a pro's profile and reviews to clients. You confirm you have the right to post it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.

We may remove content that breaks these terms. We are not obliged to keep content after an account is closed.

Easyfixo, its name, logo, software and design belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any rights in them beyond using the service.

10. Communications

We send emails and, if you give us a phone number, text messages about your account and your jobs: new offers, bookings, a pro on the way, review reminders and the like. These are part of the service. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out of texts (you may then miss time-sensitive job updates). We only send marketing messages if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any pro or client will perform as expected.

We are not responsible for the work pros perform, for the condition of a client's property, or for any injury, damage or loss arising from a job. Where the law gives you rights that cannot be disclaimed, those rights are not affected.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Easyfixo LLC and its members, managers, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from the service or any job arranged through it.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars (US$100) and the platform fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Easyfixo LLC against claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service, your content, a job you booked or performed, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or of someone else's rights.

14. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time from your account page or by emailing us. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the service. Bookings already in progress are completed or cancelled under the cancellation and dispute rules above. Sections that by their nature should survive (payments owed, content licenses, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, governing law) survive closure.

15. Governing law and disputes with us

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

If you have a problem with us, email support@easyfixo.app first and give us 30 days to work it out with you. If we can't, any claim must be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either side from seeking an injunction to protect intellectual property.

16. Changes and other terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the new terms. The date at the top of this page is the current version's effective date.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
